THE FIRST REPORT OF THE TURKEY OF THE FUTURE PROJECT EXPLAINED

İLKE Association of Science, Culture, and Education shared with the public the report “Education in the Turkey of the Future,” which was prepared under the scope of the Turkey of the Future Project.

Deputy Minister of Education Mustafa Safran, Fatih Sultan Mehmet University Rector Musa Yıldız, Ministry of National Education (MoNE) Chief Advisor Necdet Subaşı, MoNE General Manager of Religious Education Nazif Yılmaz, İLKE Association managers, NGO representatives, and a large audience formed mostly of educators participated in the introductory meeting of the Turkey of the Future Project held in a hotel in Istanbul and in presenting the Education in the Turkey of the Future report.

İLKE Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees Şükrü Alkan, who spoke first in the program, said that they believed in the importance of the accumulation from the past in the construction of an idea but that today should be analyzed well so that a strong perspective can be had. Alkan, who identified the first report of the Turkey of the Future project, Education in the Turkey of the Future, to have emerged as a result of a long and intense study, thanked those contributing to the meeting and spent effort, especially Yusuf Alpaydın who had prepared the report.
