FOREIGN POLICY REPORT ON THE TURKEY OF THE FUTURE EXPLAINED

The Foreign Policy on the Turkey of the Future, being the 5th report İLKE Foundation has prepared under the scope of the Turkey of the Future Project, was presented to the public at the Şişli Grand Cevahir Hotel on Tuesday February 25 at 10:00.

The Turkey of the Future Project, which is composed of a series of eight reports and launched by the Foundation for Science, Culture, and Education (İLKE) in 2018, subscribes to visionary suggestions about Turkey’s critical issues.


The Foreign Policy on the Turkey of the Future report, written by Istanbul University faculty member Dr. Süleyman Güder, Konya Necmettin Erbakan University faculty member Prof. Dr. Murat Çemrek, and Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University faculty member Dr. Üyesi M. Hüseyin Mercan, was shared with the public this month. The report includes the basic principles and constants revealed in the foreign policy vision for the Turkey of the Future, which has been presented in the light of analyses and assessments. The need was stated for a foreign policy vision where the defense industry and technology addiction are minimized alongside being a humanitarian and developmental diplomacy-focused foreign policy that pays attention to the multi-dimensional, multi-actor, and values-centered soft power-hard power balance.
