
ILKE Book Talks: Tahrir Youth and the Egyptian Revolution
In the
seminar organized as part of İLKE Book Talks, author Rusha Latif gave an
important talk on his book "Tahrir Youth". At the beginning of the
seminar, Latif reminded the participants of the important actors and a short
timeline of the revolutionary period in order to equip them with basic
information about the field of study. Dr. Heba Raouf Ezzat also contributed to
Latif's speech. Ezzat drew attention to the Egyptian government's post-revolutionary
urbanization and urban planning policies, which were aimed at preventing a new
revolution.
The seminar
was followed with interest by book lovers and researchers. Author Rusha Latif's
book "Tahrir Youth" and Dr. Heba Raouf Ezzat's speech provided an
important perspective on the revolutionary period in Egypt and its aftermath
and received positive feedback from the participants.
