Research Center for Educational Policy (EPAM) has started its activities under auspices of ILKE while Dr. İbrahim Hakan Karataş, a faculty member from Istanbul Medeniyet University has been appointed as its first head.

The center aims at developing policies for the education sector in the Turkey of the future through following, understanding, interpreting and explaining the developments in the field of education. EPAM aims at coining solutions for the problems of present day and future by bringing together, reviewing, and revitalizing the Turkish experiences and opportunities in education sector without overlooking the contemporary debates therein.

EPAM looks forward to pursuing its goal of conducting the studies that will strengthen the field of education in Turkey and help in ensuring the equality of opportunity in education sector in the country and all over the world. It will hence accelerate the Turkey’s earnestness in contributions towards education, playing a significant role in ensuring quality education and closely following developments therein hence marking its name in the history of the sector.
