Intellectual Streams in the Muslim World 17 (May 2022)
The bulletin has been prepared by closely following, researching, and scanning the publications and activities of over 250 civil society, think tanks, and research organizations from 43 countries with considerable Muslim populations. Hence, we are preserving the intellectual capital of the Muslim societies and creating its large database by recording and saving it.
In this issue of the bulletin, the analysis titled "The Kashmir Dispute: Some Historical Facts" written by Gulam Nabi Fai, World Kashmir Awareness Forum Chairman examines the historical background and current situation of the ongoing conflicts in Kashmir.
The analysis titled "Social and Political Life of Muslims Living in the USA" discusses how American Muslims integrate into social life and what is the main the difficulties faced by Muslims who migrated from different regions. In addition, the analysis titled "From Ideal to Pragmatism: Democratization in the Middle East and North Africa” evaluates the democratization situation in the region under the Arab Barometer data.
Finally, "An Islamic Anthropologist: Talal Asad" introduces Talal Asad's world of thought in the the bulletin of Intellectual Streams in the Muslim World.
The bulletin also presents an inventory of the activities and events that took place during April around the Muslim world. We hope that, with its renewed concept, the bulletin will be beneficial for the readers.
