A delegation from ILKE Foundation headed by the Chairman of Executive Board and including ILKE's Vice Chairman Ahmet Sait Öner as well as YEKDER's Chairman Hüseyin Türkan visited Azerbaijan on June 12-13, 2023. Kadir Yaman, Secretary of the Legal Affairs and International Relations Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), accompanied the delegation during their visit. The visit was organized to study and examine the recent developments in Azerbaijan as well as to meet and explore the potential of collaborations with academic institutions and civil society organisations in Azerbaijan.

During the visit that was spread over two days, important institutions such as the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) and the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology were visited. In addition, cooperation opportunities and future projects were discussed in meetings with various academicians and NGO representatives. İLKE Foundation's visit to Azerbaijan proved to be significant in strengthening regional cooperation and cultural ties.
