The Economics in the Turkey of the Future report, the third study in the report series that will form the vision of the future for Turkey in the areas of training, higher education, foreign policy, economics, culture, management, civil society, and social policy under the scope of the “Turkey of the Future” project which was brought to life by İLKE, the Association of Science, Culture, and Education, has been presented to the public.
İLKE Association Chairman of the Executive Board Assoc. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, who gave the inaugural speech at the program held in Istanbul, stated that determining the economy to be one of the most important agenda items, they had regrettably witnessed the steps taken in this regard to not be long term but to be short-term and day-saving measures.
He noted that they, being the İLKE Association, are attempting to strive to do long-term works that look to the future and outline the vision of the future, and the Turkey of the Future project is the product of just such an effort. Sunar finished his speech by thanking the academicians who had prepared the report.
