A delegation from ILKE Foundation including the foundation's executive board chairman Dr. Lutfi Sunar and chairman board of trustees Dr. Nihat Erdogmus, a member of the board of trustees Davut Şanver, and a member of the board of directors Kurtuluş Öztürk conducted a visit to Tunisia between 09-12 June 2022. İLKE delegation visited non-governmental organizations, universities, and research centers in Tunisia aiming at developing ILKE’s international network and extending collaborations with different institutions that share goals, activities, and aims with ILKE.

The delegation visited the rector of Ez Zeytouna University on Friday, June 10 and later met with Hichem Grissem, the head of the Institute of Islamic Civilization of Ez Zeytouna University. Later the same day, the ILKE delegation visited the Temimi Research Center and had a meeting with the Center's founding president, Abdulcelil et-Temimi. The delegation concluded the first day of their Tunisia Visit by meeting with the officials of the Maarif Foundation, Yunus Emre Institute, and TIKA at dinner.

On Saturday, June 11, the ILKE delegation visited the Center for Islamic and Democracy Studies (CSID) and met with the chairman of CSID Nabil LABASSI, vice chairman of CSID Slaheddin Jourchi, and board members of CSID Sami Brahem and Oula Ben Nejma.
