Istanbul Education Conference Organized by EPAM

Research Center for Education Policy (EPAM) undertakes the basic mission of understanding, interpreting and explaining the transformation experienced in Turkey in the field of education and developing policies for the "Turkey of the Future" with a sense of social responsibility. Under this mission, EPAM organized the Istanbul Education Conference on November 6, 2021 to provide a platform for a comprehensive discussion on the issue of "Skills Training in the Digital Age".
At the beginning of the event, EPAM Director Dr. İbrahim Hakan Karataş, Chairman of the Board of Executive of the ILKE Foundation Prof. Dr. Lütfi Sunar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the ILKE Foundation Prof. Dr. Nihat Erdoğmuş and Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Levent Yazıcı took to the podium to deliver their speeches. The keynote speech of the event was delivered by Assoc. Dr. Salim Atay, the speaker of the Presidency's Human Resources Office. In the first session, chaired by journalist and writer Kemal Öztürk, the issue of Digital Transformation in the Market was discussed. Dr. Osman Yıldız, İsmail Erkam Tüzgen and Alp Köksal participated in the first session as panelists. The second session was chaired by Mehmet İhsan Taşer with Prof. Dr. Tuncay Döğeroğlu and Prof. Şirin Karadeniz as speakers, after which the program concluded.
