He graduated from the Department of Psychology at Boğaziçi University in 1992. He completed his master’s degree in 1995 at Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration, in the Department of Behavioral Sciences. In 1998, he earned his PhD in Management and Organization from Sakarya University. He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Business Management in 1999 and became a full Professor in Management and Organization in April 2005.

He is currently a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at Yıldız Technical University. His research focuses on the structural and managerial development of institutional capacity, change management, managerial psychology, and the formation and transformation of career identity. In recent years, his areas of interest have also included the management of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the governance of higher education.
