Bekir Sami Nalbantoğlu was born in 1970 in Kahramanmaraş. He earned his bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering (English) from the Faculty of Engineering at Istanbul University in 1995. He completed his master’s degree at Boğaziçi University in 1997 with a thesis titled "Fault Detection in Robot Manipulators," receiving the title of MSc Engineer.

Beginning his career as an Electronics Engineer, Nalbantoğlu has worked on fault detection in robotic arms and the development of numerical algorithms, microprocessor-based design engineering, and tank automation and stabilization control systems. He has also held senior executive positions in the information technologies sector. Between 2001 and 2008, he lectured in university Computer Engineering departments on subjects such as microprocessors, digital signal processing, artificial intelligence, and database architecture and structures.

He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at Bilgi Sistemleri A.Ş., a company engaged in software development and systems integration projects in the IT sector. For over 20 years, he has been actively involved in developing technology, shaping public policy, and contributing to economic and social policy initiatives. He works in collaboration with leading NGOs to promote the production of high value-added technologies.
