ILKE invites you to engage in a thought-provoking discussion on the repurcassions of International Law concerning Israel's genocide in Gaza. Join us for a conference titled "Israel on Trial at the International Court of Justice: Legal and Political Implications” where we will delve into the significance and implications of Israel's trial at the ICJ, exploring its potential future impact on the Palestinian cause and the international system.
We will discuss the following questions and more:
- How effective is international law in fostering a sustainable resolution to the Palestine-Israel issues?
- How would the decisions of the International Court of Justice, whether in favour of or against Israel, influence the future trajectory of Palestine?
- What is the current state of trust in international law? Will we see the supremacy of law or the power of politics?
