A Holistic View of Education: Education Monitoring Report 2022

The year 2022, in which the post-epidemic effects in education continue and solutions are sought for chronic problems, is analyzed with the theme of "transformation of teaching”. The Education Monitoring Report published within the scope of the Field Monitoring Reports launched by the İLKE Foundation in 2020, the transformation of teaching in 2022 is discussed around many issues from the vocational law, the private sector, social reputation, and teacher training.
The “Education Monitoring Report: The Transformation of Teaching in 2022”, which is published annually and within the scope of Field Monitoring Reports that comprehensively analyze the relevant field, was prepared with the contribution of academics and researchers. The report was presented to the public at a well-attended meeting on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
The Field Monitoring Reports Project, which started with the reports published for the first time in 2020, covers basically five areas: Economy, Society, Education, Law, and Civil Society. These annual reports adopt a data-based and inclusive approach. In the first part of the report prepared by İLKE Foundation's Education Policy Research Center (EPAM), basic data on the field of education are summarized under the title "General Outlook".
