He currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at Istanbul Medeniyet University. He received his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Physics from Yıldız Technical University in 2006 and 2010, respectively. He obtained his second master’s degree in 2013 in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Istanbul Şehir University.

In 2019, he earned his Ph.D. in Sustainable Energy from Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar, focusing on energy finance. Afterward, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Sustainable Development department at the same university for three years.

Dr. Arı worked as a software developer in the private sector between 2006 and 2010 and as a Business Analyst at Kuveyt Türk Participation Bank between 2013 and 2015. He has published over 20 scientific papers. His research areas include decision support systems, computational economics, financial modeling, and socioeconomic simulations.
