He completed his undergraduate education in 2019 as an honor student in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. In the same year, he started his postgraduate education in the Department of Islamic Economics and Finance at the Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences. His main areas of interest are Economic History and Moral Economy. 

Çakır, who worked as a human resources professional in various institutions, serves as the Secretary General of the İLKE Foundation.
