Karahan currently serves as the President of the Turkish Association for Economic Enterprise and Business Ethics (İGİAD). Previously, he was the Founding President of the Laleli Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association. He is also involved in the management of the ILKE Foundation and Derya Öncü College, and continues his work at MÜSİAD as an active member.
