A delegation comprising Nihat Erdoğmuş, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of İLKE Foundation, Ahmet Sait Öner, Chairman of İLKE Foundation, Melih Tayyip Aksüt, Secretary General of İLKE Foundation, and Büşra Islam, Outreach Coordinator, paid a visit to Wadah Khanfar, President of Al Sharq, along with his team.

The primary objective of the visit was to strengthen collaboration between the two think tanks and explore new avenues for future partnerships. Khanfar highlighted that İLKE's three research centers and three associations collectively form a holistic approach to various aspects of life, including economy, education, society, and policy.

Erdoğmuş emphasized the influential role of Al Sharq as an international organization in our country and underscored the importance of forging stronger ties to amplify the impact of both entities.

During the visit, Al Sharq Academia and İLKE Foundation reached an agreement to collaborate on training initiatives and report publications. Additionally, İLKE Foundation showcased its publications, particularly Platform Magazine, focusing on insightful analyses of contemporary Muslim affairs.

The visit yielded fruitful discussions, with Erdoğmuş emphasizing the significance of generating new knowledge for both İLKE Foundation and Al Sharq. Hence, our ongoing efforts are geared towards fostering innovation and guiding decision-makers.

At the end of the meeting, Prof.  Erdoğmuş presented the Al Fettah inscribed plaquet as a gift.
