The leadership of the Worldwide Lawyers Association (WOLAS) paid a visit to the ILKE Foundation. The meeting was attended by WOLAS Chairman of the Board, Attorney Enes Kafadar; Secretary General Burak Yuvalı; and Board Member Dr. Ömer Metehan Aynural. On behalf of the İLKE Foundation, Chairman of the Board, Attorney Ahmet Sait Öner hosted the delegation.

During the meeting, information was shared regarding the establishment process and activities of WOLAS. WOLAS conducts rights monitoring, advocacy, and legal operations, while also mobilizing international mechanisms and following up on litigation and application processes. The association also oversees the legal proceedings of the Sumud Freedom Flotilla. Strengthening its academic capacity through annual international conferences, country-based reports, and educational activities, WOLAS aims to bring activism and knowledge together.

The meeting also addressed potential areas of cooperation, particularly with Adil Academy and in the field of legal monitoring reports, as well as other prospective joint initiatives. The parties agreed to hold a return visit in the near future.
